Thanks to Meininger’s on Broadway in Denver for providing a sizzling hot parking lot on this September Sunday with a superl-lime green wall and to Mother Nature for providing the turquoise blue sky.
Greeting the new Gnomes around town before they go to their own gardens
These two new Gnomes are headed for an urban garden in Denver where they’ll be tasked with keeping the wooden squirrel and scarecrows busy and guarding the keg while their gardeners go to some Cheese Festival in Wisconsin.
Old Gnome decided to get out from behind the Nikon to take a photo with the visiting couple. He hopes to someday have a Mrs Gnome as well.
We would like to thank Crackpots for “firing up” our new Gnomes into existence.

Many thanks to Vicky Boone, owner of Serendpity Antiques and Collectibles in Longmont, Colorado. We’ve been driving by her store all year on our way to Crackpots to paint our pottery and this weekend, i remembered to bring my camera and my new 20-inch Venti Emotikin. After finishing a new coffee tumbler at Crackpots, Venti and I walked down the street and spent a playful hour perusing the antiques. Vicky has created so many wonderful vignettes in her shop that my imagination ignited. Such a fun Saturday. We’ll be back — next time we’re bringing Venti’s black top hat and some accessories to jazz up the pics. I highly recommend taking yourself on an Artist’s Date at Serendipity, or your local rendition!
